Shadow is a very wild mare who is really a ball of fire. She has her own opinion and makes sure you hear it. If you don't give her enough attention, she goes bananas. This is a very "high maintenance" mare, as her previous owner put it. Though she is so spirited, she does have some talent. Her strides are nice and long, and they have that gliding-on-ice appearance. We're very lucky to have acquired her, and we hope she'll do well once started under saddle. She's been doing well in halter, or that's how she's been around the farm at least. It seems that once she gets into the arena, she knows it's show time, and there's no funny business in the show business.
